Enjoy the finest half day fishing on the West Coast. Half-day trips fish the San Diego coastline from Imperial Beach to the Point Loma kelp beds. Depending on the season, you can expect to catch a variety of game fish including Yellowtail, Bass, Barracuda, Bonito or Rock Fish. Masks Required.
If want to join with a group or want a private charter, this is the trip for you! You'll be fishing off the coast of San Diego Bay. This includes locations; Point Loma kelp beds, the 9-mile bank, La Jolla, Imperial Beach, San Diego Bay, the back bay, and the Coronado Bridge. Calico Bass, Yellowtail, Rockfish, LingCod, Halibut, and some local species are all on your target list. Your captain will provide all the fishing gear, as well as snacks and drinks, so just bring along a fishing license.

Your child will thank you for taking them fishing because our crew will MAKE SURE they have a good time and help them try to land fish! We help them learn how to bait a hook, let the line drop, wait for a bite, set the hook, reel it up, and bring the fish over the side. Our crew is very patient with young anglers because we know that they represent the next generation of anglers!

DEEP SEA TARGET SPECIES
A six-hour local charter fishing trip departing from San Diego is a half-day fishing adventure that takes you to the local waters around San Diego in search of a variety of fish species. The trip is typically conducted on one of our six pack sportfishing boats and can be arranged as either an open party trip with multiple people on board, or a private charter for your group only.
During a six-hour local charter fishing trip, you can expect to fish in the nearby waters off the coast of San Diego, which are known for their rich marine ecosystem and abundant fish population. The trip will typically take you to areas where you can target species such as yellowtail, barracuda, dorado, halibut, rockfish, calico bass, and more. The captain and crew of the boat will have extensive knowledge of the local fishing grounds and will use their expertise to find the best spots to fish.
During both the winter and summertime trips this trip we stay within 5 miles of land and 1 hour from dock. If you want a longer trip, or to go after tuna or other pelagic species, we recommend the FULL DAY trip instead.
