Long Range Fishing Trip - San Diego

When you book a FULL DAY private charter, well... you going deep. Leaving well before dawn, and returning at dusk (or after), you will get your fill of fishing for the day. Bring some friends, and catch some tuna! You will have a huge swath of ocean within range.

Coffee, Water, Soda, and Snacks all being included. This trip includes morning donuts and coffee and lunch!

All of our private charters have your group being taken care of by a Captain, and two crew. Price includes Fuel, Bait, Boat, Tackle, and Rod & Reel rentals. 

The only thing NOT included is a fishing license and any alcoholic beverages you wish to bring with you. (Coolers are OK!)

With a full day trip (12 hours) you will have the time and range to head further out in search of bigger fish like bluefin, and yellowfin tuna. 

Mostly, you will be on the troll looking for kelp patties and using the side scan sonar to search for tuna schools below the surface. If you get a hit while trolling the deckhand will give you the rod and you will be ON! Additionally, we will be on the binoculars looking for foaming fish in the surface and monitoring the radio for any intel. If you want to, grab a pair of binoculars and help us look.

Once we locate of school of fish your Captain will promptly pull up on it and throw bait, this is your signal to grab a rod and reel and go for it. Our deckhands will make sure that your baited and ready to go.

Plenty of fish storage on ice will insure that your catch stays fresh, and as always, fish cleaning is included.

Arguably the best fighting fish for its weight, and they can get up to 300 pounds each! Come early, leave late.

Although smaller than the Bluefin, this ferocious fish puts up a fight you will not soon forget. Summer is hot for this fish.

This is the big one. If you hook up on this you will be in the fight of your life. These fish way hundreds of pounds!

Use downriggers to send huge baits 100s of feet down in search of Swordfish!

Not technically a tuna, but in the same weight class, it  is known for the best taste.

The colorful skin of this fish is iridescent! It is also known for its high flying antics.
